Responsibilities
- Maintaining vocal composure, answering and directing calls to respective departments
- Scheduling/rescheduling patients depending on need, availability and urgency
- Informing callers about our providers, service and practice locations
- Aiding and navigating patients to the correct facilities using mapping resources
- Updating patient information on electronic medical records system
- Translating and assisting patients by addressing their needs
Skills And Abilities
- Must be personable and detail oriented as a representative of the practice while callers rely on proper information
- Excellent verbal and written skills for proper documentation of encounters
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual candidates encouraged
Education And Experience
- Background in using EMR software preferred
- 1 Year Of Call Center Experience Preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in healthcare preferred
