Patient Scheduler Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and referrals to other health-care providers and services.
• Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
• Assist with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.
• Ensure that all medical appointments, special instructions, and patient information is entered into the electronic medical system.
• Follow site-specific protocols and maintain up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
