Pay

$20.00–$25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures patient assessment visits, including all Oasis visits, are scheduled and performed timely.
  • Ensures clinicians are assigned and scheduled efficiently by geography, maximizing clinician efficiency, matching skills with required care, and optimizing capacity.
  • Works collaboratively with field clinicians to ensure all patient visits are scheduled and completed as ordered and within the care center.
  • Manages calls from patients and field staff related to scheduling issues.
  • Refers clinical and performance-related issues to the clinical manager.
  • Monitors hospitalized patients, ensuring the team follows up as necessary.
  • Supports clinical manager and ensures timely communication with patients, clinicians, referral sources, business development team, and other office personnel.
  • Runs applicable reports and responds to workflow, taking appropriate actions.
  • Assists with internal or external transfer of patients between care centers and/or hospice services.
  • May maintain supply closet with routine supplies, ensuring items are within expiration dates and packaged appropriately, and serve as liaison for patient supply needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Preferred: One year of scheduling experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Preferred: One year of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
