Patient Representative PRN
This position is incentive eligible. The typical wage range for candidates hired is $16.65 - $24.14 per hour. Factors such as skills, experience, and comparison to other employees in this role may influence the actual salary offered.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Care Representative to join CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. This role provides expertise and champions patient care within our team.
Responsibilities
- Check-in patients in a timely manner and ensure all Web Check-in procedures are followed.
- Answer phone calls to the clinic and provide information or refer questions as needed.
- Verify insurance accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the occupational client’s preference card is followed and review occupational procedures.
- Review all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collect necessary insurance/demographic information.
- Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, ensuring all forms of payment are accounted for and documented.
Qualifications
- 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of start.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
