Responsibilities

  • Maintains visual observation of patients at all times.
  • Versatilely redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device that is in patient room.
  • Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
  • Participates in a collaborative identification and reporting of patient safety issues.
  • Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, and works to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors.
  • As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

Requirements

  • High School or GED (Required)
  • Completion of BLS is required during orientation.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
  • Candidates must be capable of maintaining focus on specific subjects or tasks for extended periods.
  • The ability to analyze and synthesize patient care information to develop individualized care recommendations is necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the healthcare or service-related industry is preferred.
