About the Role

This Patient Financial Representative II opportunity is a full-time remote position. Team members must reside in Florida.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications.
  • Document patient account activity and respond to customer billing inquiries.
  • Post payments and implement billing guideline changes.
  • Identify trends at a payer-specific level.
  • Apply federal and state guidelines to collection efforts.
  • Interpret and follow up on Explanation of Benefits.
  • Inventory supplies and report/track equipment maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of Patient Accounts experience or 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience with the Department of Children & Families (DCF) or other public assistance programs (preferred).
