Patient Experience Associate

Position Overview

Under supervision, performs secretarial duties, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinical, or laboratory procedures. Primary Department, Division, Or Unit: Physician Services, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital
Primary Work Shift: Day
Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

About the Role

Compensation Range: $16.35 - $21.49 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations
• Prepare reports and correspondence as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
• Provide general office support and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years’ experience in medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care
• Proficient computer skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience with scheduling

• Current driver's license
