Patient Coordinator (Full Time)

About the Role

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator at our Hillsborough Office. The Patient Coordinator executes all front office duties and provides essential support to patients, providers, and staff. We welcome candidates with no prior experience but a strong interest in healthcare, teamwork, attention to detail, and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling tasks, and online leads in a timely and knowledgeable manner.
• Create a positive phone experience for each caller.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance patient care and service quality.
• Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate provider needs.
• Perform inventory management and stock supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required; medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relations and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable, and dedicated work ethic.
• Prior experience in a dermatology or medical environment preferred.
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Schedule

Full-time, 30+ hours per week. Availability required Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7 AM–7 PM. Flexibility to cover shifts in a team environment is essential.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $17–$21
