Arizona Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our network in Tucson, AZ. Our practice has been providing patients with unparalleled care and exceptional oral surgery experiences for over 50 years. We are a team of four oral surgery experts devoted to improving the lives of others in the Tucson, Oro Valley, and Sahuarita communities. We also make a social impact by providing complimentary oral surgery services through our Summer of Wisdom and New Smile campaigns and focus on a robust educational program to educate and build relationships within the dental community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, cancellations, and reschedules, ensuring efficient use of the doctor’s time and maximizing patient convenience.
  • Confirm appointments and send reminders to patients to minimize no-shows and ensure smooth office flow.
  • Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and cared for.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographics, collecting detailed personal and financial information.
  • Facilitate patient flow by ensuring timely check-in and communicating any delays to patients and clinical staff.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to coordinate patient needs, minimizing wait times and ensuring an efficient experience.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and protecting sensitive information.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and reception area.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a dental office or medical office setting preferred.
  • Experience with practice management software and scheduling systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay
