Patient Care Technician - 9 MTN PCU - FT

How You’ll Help

The Patient Care Technician performs basic clerical and technical clinical services relating to the care, cleanliness, safety, and comfort for patients. Provides quality service through a team-oriented, collaborative approach to patient care. This 20 bed PCU specializes in the care of Neuro/Trauma surgery and is the secondary stroke unit for hemorrhagic stroke patients. Four beds in this unit are dedicated for an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and two beds are equipped for Chronic Ventilator patients.

Shift

Full time, working the night shift with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Pay

A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available when external candidate meets applicable guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: None.
• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: If employee is working in a critical access facility, a Certified Nursing Assistant is required.
