8 WPCU – The Enhanced Monitoring Unit is a 27-bed specialty step-down environment focused on gastrointestinal (GI) and pulmonary care. Our patients require comprehensive monitoring and interventions that bridge the gap between intensive care and acute medical-surgical nursing. With a focus on innovation and teamwork, the Enhanced Monitoring Unit provides nurses with a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge, grow professionally, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

What We Require

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience: None.

• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: If employee is working in a critical access facility, a Certified Nursing Assistant is required.

• Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
