Patient Care Staffing Specialist - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities to ensure appropriate staffing for patient care areas.
• Develops schedules, processes approved vacation and holiday time.
• Receives and covers sick calls, timely cancels per-diem staff.
• Floats staff as appropriate to current competencies and certifications.
• Maintains data and records, and statistical reporting in the overall staffing effort.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent
• Post high school vocational/specialized training
• Three years related experience preferably within a medical and/or research environment
• Maintains effective and diplomatic working relationships with staff and public
