Patient Care Staffing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities to ensure appropriate staffing for patient care areas.
• Develops schedules and processes approved vacation and holiday time.
• Receives and covers sick calls as needed.
• Timely cancels per-diem staff and floats staff as appropriate to current competencies and certifications.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent
• Post high school vocational/specialized training
• Three years related experience preferably within a medical and/or research environment
• Maintain effective and diplomatic working relationships with staff and public
