Patient Care Coordinator

About the role

We have an immediate opening for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in North Raleigh, North Carolina. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 7:30AM to 4:30PM

Responsibilities

• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicate physician orders and instructions
• Provide pre and post op education
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families
• Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology
