*Patient Care Assistant II (PCA II)- Cardiac Neuro
Responsibilities
- Maintains a current certification in patient care and assists patients with activities of daily living.
- Provides basic nursing care to all patients.
- Aids in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the RN.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Certification in Patient Care required (M.A. / CNA / EMT / Paramedic / Patient Care Tech, etc.).
- Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Six months previous experience as Monitor Technician, preferred.
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office, preferred.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.90 to $28.01. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
