About the role

The Patient Care Assistant II position at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff. This includes monitoring and recording vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene and physical care needs, accurately measuring and recording intake and output, obtaining and recording daily weight, performing blood glucose testing, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assists with personal hygiene and physical care needs
• Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output
• Obtains and records daily weight
• Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter

Requirements

• High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or
• High School GED General Studies, upon hire and
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing or 1 year direct patient care experience, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days

Pay

The posted compensation range is $19.49 - $27.52 /hour.
