Responsibilities

• Implements components of the plan of care based on physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Provides comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living: personal care needs, nutritional and elimination needs.
• Makes measurements of vital signs, performs ECGs, and capillary blood glucose tests.
• Observes and reports the functioning of equipment, the results of treatments, condition of dressings and any changes in patient condition.
• Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities (i.e. confidentiality, responsiveness, caring).

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 1 year experience in a patient care role
• Licenses: Basic Life Support Required
• Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant Preferred, Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
