Patient Attendant (Casual Call)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, service-oriented Patient Attendant to join our Patient Experience Team. Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, supportive, and positive experience for everyone who enters our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, directing, escorting, and assisting patients, visitors, and families throughout the hospital and clinic.
• Assist patients with wheelchair use, transport, and wayfinding while ensuring safety.
• Support check-in processes for visitors and vendors and respond to customer questions, concerns, or needs using appropriate resources.
• Maintain clean, clutter-free entrances and notify Environmental Services or Security when additional support is needed.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties, including basic computer use, paging, phone skills, and data entry for tracking logs and reports.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalency.
• One year of experience working with the public.
• One year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills is a plus!
• Weekend availability preferred.

Starting pay of $16.47+ more for experience!
