Patient Care Attendant

About the role

This position is available to both external applicants and current VCA associates.

Responsibilities

- Provide daily care and supervision to hospitalized patients. - Assist with patient check-ins and check-outs. - Maintain cleanliness and organization within the hospital. - Participate in the care and feeding of daycare guests. - Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Patience and compassion towards animals.

Skills

- Basic computer skills. - Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques.

Pay

- Salary range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
