About the Role
The Patient Advocate is responsible for retaining client loyalty and referrals by consistently delivering clear, efficient, and valuable support to all callers. This role involves communication with Adjusters and Nurse Case Managers to establish a best-in-class customer experience. The Patient Advocate provides support, guidance, and positivity to patients and clients while collaborating with the team to achieve common goals and maintain desired results.
The ideal candidate is empathetic, passionate, and driven to accomplish objectives for the success of the business.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to schedule patients in a timely manner to ensure internal and external metrics are met.
- Understand and comply with MedRisk’s interdepartmental procedures and policies.
- Meet departmental goals for quality and quantity of work input.
- Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Provide best-in-class customer service to all callers.
- Investigate cases with missing information necessary to schedule patients for their initial evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to think critically.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong data entry skills.
