Full-time position focused on ensuring the clinic adheres to HIPAA, OSHA, compliance, and fraud/abuse regulations. The role involves broad goals and objectives, requiring independent judgment in daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct eligibility checks
- Fix charts and correct mistakes
- Validate Phreesia appointments, including cancellations and reschedules
- Pre-register patients
- Greet, recognize, and register patients politely and efficiently
- Manage ProviderFlow tasks
- Answer phone calls and voice messages professionally, addressing patient needs promptly
- Verify and update patient information, including insurance, demographics, and signatures
Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical office procedures
- Proficiency in computer systems and applications
- Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Experience operating business office machines
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees, and the public

Pay
$21–$23 per hour
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must be available to work early, late, or extended hours as needed to meet job requirements
Working Conditions
- Typical business office environment
- Possibility of local travel
- Constant computer use (monitor, mouse, typing)
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 10 pounds
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
