Patient Access Trainer

About the role

The Patient Access Trainer coordinates and delivers training materials and training sessions to craft a curriculum structure for the Patient Access system. This role promotes competency with the Patient Access system to most accurately process billing and patient information.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of training materials to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of Patient Access employees.
• Tracks key metrics in employee performance to assess the effectiveness of trainings and communicate findings to department leadership.
• Identifies issues and makes suggestions to improve and enhance the organization's internal system setup and operations.
• Serves as a resource to resolve Patient Access problems, inquiries, and system requests across the organization.
• Ensures the organization complies with federally mandated privacy rules and health network policies by including these topics in training materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree (Required).
• 3 years of related experience (Required).
