About the role
The Patient Access Representative will ensure an exceptional patient experience through high-quality customer service and seamless access to hospital and clinical services.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect patient financial responsibility and complete pre-registration
- Proactively improve the patient experience while minimizing financial risk
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
