About the role
This is a Per Diem position. The role will be located in the Emergency Department and involves working closely with clinical teams and performing Unit Secretary duties.
Responsibilities
- Arrange for the efficient and orderly registration of patients.
- To coordinate and maintain the flow of patient’s, patient information and communications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience with Medical Terminology
- Data entry
- Multi-key phone
- Versatile verbal and written communication skills
- Organized
- Independent
- Two years working with people
- Able to work in a stressful/fast paced environment
