Patient Access Representative Lead - Family Practice
Job Summary
Affords assistance in coordinating various activities such as scheduling, insurance verification, and pre-certification. Acts as a clinical liaison with physician practices and interacts with pre-visit services. Manages daily operations within the designated area.
Details of the Position
- Assigns tasks and manages priorities.
- Provides technical support and oversees staff schedules.
- Maintains quality of work and ensures timely completion of projects.
- Mentors staff and offers constructive feedback.
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provides leadership feedback on staff performance and assists with goal setting for the team.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Terminology and CPT/ICD coding.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook (preferred).
- Ability to manage conflict effectively and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills, emphasizing meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions
- Operates computer and other office equipment.
