About the role

The Patient Access Representative II is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring accurate and timely registration processes, and maintaining a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient inquiries and registrations efficiently
• Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed and submitted
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Follow up on patient accounts and resolve billing issues
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of relevant customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
