Patient Access Representative - Float

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and obtain insurance authorizations when necessary.
• Collect deposits, co‑pays, and deductibles.
• Educate patients and families regarding patient rights, advanced directives, and distribute patient guides.
• Communicate professionally in‑person and by phone; provide clear instructions and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred).
• Computer proficiency required.
• Medical terminology experience preferred.
• Billing and/or collection experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills are a must.

Pay

$14.41 – $17.79 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, variable shifts of 8–12 hours. Must be available to work weekend nights (Saturday/Sunday).
