Patient Access Representative Float

Responsibilities

• Answering and routing phone calls to appropriate areas.
• Greeting, screening, and directing patients.
• Patent check-in and registration.
• Scheduling therapy appointments.
• Collecting copays.
• Working with clinical and clerical staff to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills required.
• Prior experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance benefits is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task and accept feedback.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
