Responsibilities
- Align with Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Core Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions
- Research, collect, and analyze information to identify opportunities and develop solutions
- Collaborate on performance improvement activities based on program efficiency and patient experience outcomes
- Responsible for distribution of analytical reports
- Utilize multiple system applications for analysis, reporting, and educational material development
- Incorporate knowledge of Trinity Health policies, practices, and processes to ensure quality, confidentiality, and safety
- Demonstrate knowledge of departmental processes and acquire new knowledge as needed
- Research and compile information to support ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives
- Synthesize and analyze data, providing detailed summaries, graphical presentations, and practical recommendations
- Leverage program and operational data to define and demonstrate progress, ROI, and impacts
- Maintain working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program, Code of Conduct, and other policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA certification required within one (1) year of hire
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Understanding of diagnostic and procedural coding
- Experience with insurance verification, including explaining benefits and securing authorizations
