About the role
Ensures accurate and efficient patient registration for hospital services.
Responsibilities
- Gathers and processes registration, billing, and related information from patients in various departments including Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology, and Emergency Department.
- Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits.
- Reviews and improves the registration process and flow with patients and families.
- Promotes a positive patient experience as the initial interaction with the hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in Patient Access is required.
- Knowledge of insurance requirements, insurance verification, and third-party billing is essential.
