About the role

Ensures accurate and efficient patient registration for hospital services.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and processes registration, billing, and related information from patients in various departments including Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology, and Emergency Department.
• Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Reviews and improves the registration process and flow with patients and families.
• Promotes a positive patient encounter as the initial interaction with the Hospital.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in Patient Access is required.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, insurance verification, and 3rd party billing is required.
