Responsibilities
- Intake patient and insurance information using multiple programs and typing quickly.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, assisting patients with their registration.
- Handle a variety of health plans and coverage types, requiring knowledge through training.
- Build rapport and address patients' fears, concerns, and questions with empathy and patience.
- Collaborate with clinicians while managing interruptions for emergent clinical care.
- Ensure accuracy in data collection to support smooth patient flow and financial performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
Qualifications
While the base pay range is $16.00 - $21.10 per hour, individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
