About the role
Global Patent Solutions, LLC (GPS) is an intellectual property research and consulting firm based in Scottsdale, AZ. This position is remote and offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects without requiring extensive prior patent knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Quickly review and understand the theoretical and technical aspects of client inventions and/or technical search concepts
- Create research strategies to optimize time and resource utilization
- Perform extensive database research
- Review, gather, and analyze technical literature
- Report research findings in a timely and high-quality manner
Requirements
- Meet and exceed client needs and deadlines by providing viable research solutions and maintaining reliability and dedication
- Quickly and continuously learn, interpret, comprehend, retain, and apply technical abilities in a dynamic and supportive environment

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS) required
- Must have US Work Authorization and have resided in the United States for the past two years
- Previous experience or knowledge in three or more of the following technical areas: Sensors And Detectors, Electromagnetism And Radiation, Semi-Conductors And Solid-State, Quantum Mechanics, Circuits, Lighting, Power Generation And Conversion, Manufacturing Processes, Wireless Technologies, Networking, Software, Data Sciences, Computer Hardware, Image/Video Processing
- Electrical: Control Systems, Electrical Circuits And Components, Lighting, Power Generation, Conversion, And Distribution, Printers And Recorders
