Global Patent Solutions, LLC (GPS) is an intellectual property research and consulting firm focused on meeting the needs of Inventors and IP professionals worldwide. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, GPS services a global client base including IP Attorneys, Patent Agents, Business Leaders, R&D Teams, Universities, Entrepreneurs, and Inventors.

Responsibilities

• Quickly review and gain an understanding of technical aspects of client inventions and/or technical search concepts
• Create research strategies to optimize time and resource utilization
• Perform extensive database research
• Review, gather, and analyze technical literature
• Report research findings in a timely and high-quality manner

Skills

• Previous patent examining or patent searching experience preferred, but not required
• Bachelor's degree (BS) required. Master's degree (MS) or Ph.D. in Engineering preferred
• US Work Authorization and continuous residency in the United States for the past two years required
• Extensive knowledge or experience in at least one of the following technical areas: Chemical and Materials Engineering, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Electrochemistry
