About the role

The Patent Scientist - Physics position is responsible for conducting research and analysis to support patent applications in the field of physics.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research and analysis on patentable inventions in the field of physics.
  • Collaborates with legal teams to develop and refine patent strategies.
  • Prepares and submits patent applications to the relevant authorities.
  • Monitors patent landscapes and industry trends to identify potential patent opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in patent law or equivalent research experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of patent laws and regulations.
  • Experience with patent drafting and prosecution processes.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

  • Proficiency in computer software used for patent analysis and drafting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex technical information.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule
