Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breads, pastries, and desserts according to standardized recipes and production schedules
- Aid with plating and presentation for banquet events
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Manage inventory and supply usage to reduce waste
- Collaborate with culinary team members for daily operations
Qualifications
- 4 years of culinary or food and beverage experience with a high school diploma/GED, or 2 years of experience with a degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking processes, and decorating methods
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency in production
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate required
- Wear slip-resistant, enclosed footwear
