Parts Trainee

About the role

A Parts Trainee learns and demonstrates the skills needed to serve as the face of MacAllister CAT for customers requiring equipment parts. The role focuses on processing parts orders efficiently and providing quality service.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders under supervision
• Put away stock and accept cores
• Take inventory and process returns
• Operate warehouse equipment, including hose machines and forklifts
• Ship and receive parts
• Use proper parts terminology and route shipments
• Maintain cleanliness in parts areas

Requirements

• Minimum completion of a High School Diploma
• Previous experience in parts or warehouse roles is a bonus
• Strong customer support and communication skills for face-to-face interactions with customers and internal staff
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency in navigating stock management software

Nice to Have

• Formal training or certification in forklift operation
