Ripon Farm Services is offering a Trainee Parts Advisor (Diploma) position in Ripon. This role combines part-time study for a Parts Diploma with practical work experience at the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and navigate John Deere’s advanced parts systems
• Run a profitable parts and retail environment
• Process internal and retail parts orders accurately and efficiently
• Identify components using electronic catalogues and systems
• Participate in stock-taking and warehousing operations
• Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and merchandising
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

• 5 GCSEs (or predicted) at grade 5/C or above including Maths, English, and Science
• A keen interest in machinery, agriculture, and customer service
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude
• A willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach

Qualifications

The Parts Diploma is required for this role. It provides comprehensive training in all aspects of being a Parts Advisor.
