About the role

TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity to work at the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States. The first fab will start production in the first half of 2025, utilizing N4 process technology. The second fab will use N3 and N2 process technology and begin operations in 2028. The third fab, manufacturing chips using 2nm or more advanced technology, will start production by the end of the decade. America’s leading technology companies will rely on TSMC Arizona for the next generations of chips.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about the processes and keep up with procedure updates by reading documents provided.
  • Monitor the monitoring system and check for alerts to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Complete important tasks quickly and safely, following instructions provided.
  • Team up with others to fix or solve a problem.

Requirements

  • Be comfortable using desktop computers and programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Use multiple screens to access different programs and multiple reports.
  • Sit and work at a computer for long periods.
  • Type quickly and accurately (at least 35 words per minute) on a desktop computer.
  • Follow detailed instructions and fill out documents carefully.
  • Ability to remember colors, functions, and report types.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to attend every day, M-F from 9a-6p for the first 5-week training session.
  • Must be able to work the Compressed Work Schedule (12-hour shifts) after initial training is complete.

Schedule

After successful completion of Basic Training, schedules are 10- or 12-hour shifts that run on a 24-hour cycle. This would mean the shift would be four days of 10-hour shifts with 3 days off, or three days of 12-hour shifts and four days off the first week of the pay period, and then four days of 12-hour shifts and three days off the second week known as “Compressed Work Schedule”. There Are 4 Different Shifts: day shifts at the beginning of the week; night shifts at the beginning of the week; day shifts at the end of the week; and night shifts at the end of the week.
