Parts & Tractor Runner
About the role
As a Parts & Tractor Runner, you will assist the mobile technician fleet, stores, and tractor assembly centers by transporting company-owned and customer-owned tractors, equipment, and parts to various locations for sale or repair. You will also support mobile technicians, stores, and assembly centers with repairs, merchandising, and customer service as needed.

Responsibilities
- Transport company-owned and customer-owned tractors, equipment, and parts to stores, tractor assembly centers, and third-party dealers.
- Assist with repairs, merchandising, and customer service as needed.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and webinars to refine skills and stay current on industry practices.
- Complete transportation of assets and simple service work safely and on time.
- Travel daily to customers, stores, assembly centers, and third-party dealers; occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Document work performed daily using computer systems and programs.
- Operate machinery and equipment such as tractors, gantry cranes, electric hoists, service trucks, forklifts, and multimeters.
- Load and unload customer machines for repair and delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and work areas to ensure safety.
- Handle multiple priorities, organize workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Cross-train and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Experience and proficiency in towing a loaded trailer and securing assets of various weights and sizes for transport.
- Experience operating farm equipment or heavy construction equipment.
- Proficiency with computer-based systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and alignment with Rural King’s People Promise.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to produce error-free work and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Enthusiasm for learning, personal growth, and a proactive approach to professional development.
