Parts Specialist Counter

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the parts counter, including handling phone calls, assisting walk-in customers, and processing paperwork accurately.
• Manage cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• Perform warehouse duties such as accurate counting, receiving, and shipping of parts, stocking inventory, and accounting for warranty items.
• Build hoses and maintain contamination control.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, with some experience in a mechanical parts environment.
• Knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts preferred.
• Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good computer skills, including Microsoft applications.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs; pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, sitting, climbing stairs, and accessing machines.
• Dexterity for repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Noise levels vary from quiet (office settings) to moderate or loud (warehouse), with potential for sudden loud noises.
