Job Summary
Pape’ Machinery, Inc., a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Parts Sales Counterperson I to join our team. This role involves providing parts expertise to customers and building lasting relationships through excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with customers to identify their needs and provide recommendations
- Use product literature, specialized software systems, and growing knowledge of parts and equipment to offer timely and accurate solutions
- Translate technical details into actionable parts support
- Communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person to sell company parts and other services
- Perform at a high level in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
What You Need
- Verifiable parts counter experience or applicable mechanical/service experience
- Basic knowledge of parts inventory
- Self-motivation and assertive drive
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Able to communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person
- Above-average organizational skills
Compensation
$19.26-26.96/hr (Depending on Experience)
