Parts Manager

Job Summary

The Parts Manager at Seidel Hyundai in Reading, Pennsylvania will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership's parts department. This individual contributor role requires a highly organized and customer-focused individual who can effectively manage inventory, order and supply parts, and provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This is a full-time salaried position in the auto industry with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages all aspects of the dealership's parts department
• Maintains accurate and organized parts inventory
• Maintains and analyzes parts sales and adjusts inventory levels accordingly
• Orders and supplies parts to meet dealership and customer needs
• Ensures timely delivery of parts to customers and service technicians
• Communicates with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure efficient operation of dealership
• Develops and implements procedures to improve department efficiency and effectiveness
• Provides training and supervision to other parts department employees
• Keeps up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive parts department
• Knowledge of automotive parts and components
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Computer proficiency, including experience with inventory management systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
