Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
- Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
- Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customers’ needs.
- Calls vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock.
- Maintain a section of the showroom floor.
- Affiliate with warehouse personnel in identifying and finding parts.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- A combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
- Additional product training preferred.
- A minimum of one year experience in sales and/or counter operations is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
