Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
  • Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customers’ needs.
  • Calls vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock.
  • Maintain a section of the showroom floor.
  • Affiliate with warehouse personnel in identifying and finding parts.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
  • A combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
  • Additional product training preferred.
  • A minimum of one year experience in sales and/or counter operations is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
