Responsibilities
- Lead performance improvement and monitoring in our payment corridors in the region, including in Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala and beyond.
- Identify & track the metrics that matter.
- Foster strong working relationships with payout partners across markets.
- Collaborate with partners on troubleshooting issues and potential performance improvements.
- Reduce our technical outages over time by tracking why they happen & working across teams to remove the issues at the root.
- Build robust systems, governance tools, analytical dashboards and playbooks to streamline internal and payout partner operations and reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with highly technical and specialized product/engineering colleagues across the organization to build scalable systems.
- Collaborate with growth, engineering, product, business development, and support teams to prepare for new market and payout partner launches.
Requirements
- Ability to independently lead projects, identify operational problems & deliver solutions cross-functionally. This includes performing analysis, designing process solutions and working with technical team(s) on implementation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, technology, operations, or a similar field at a start-up or tech company. Experience in payment operations is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL a must.
- Emerging market experience strongly preferred.
- English and Spanish language proficiency required.
