About the role
The Partnerships team at Klaviyo is seeking a Partner Account Manager II to build long-term, deep, and mutually beneficial relationships with marketing agency and systems integrator partners. This role requires a strong consultative approach to understand partners' business models and growth strategies, and to identify ways Klaviyo can support them and their clients.
Responsibilities
- Become a trusted advisor to key leaders and decision makers at partner organizations and build relationships with front-line teams working with Klaviyo.
- Develop technical knowledge of Klaviyo's product and understand how partners can leverage advanced use cases.
- Build and manage a lead referral pipeline with the partner portfolio.
- Work to understand partner organizational structures and business goals.
- Develop a long-term strategy with partners to help them achieve their business goals alongside Klaviyo.
- Act as a consultant to help partners build or optimize their offerings around Klaviyo.
- Become a product expert on Klaviyo and adept at presenting how Klaviyo's services and software can help improve a partner's business.
- Operate with and exceed revenue-focused goals.
- Bring creative thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance Klaviyo's values, build the company culture, and execute on its vision for the future.
- Own projects and collaborate with a highly driven team to create new partner enablement and processes.
- Drive co-marketing with partners.
- Travel: up to 25%, to meet and develop relationships with agency partners and attend events.
Requirements
- Adept at influencing and relationship building.
- Partnerships, sales, or account management experience.
- Largely worked on accounts in the SMB/MM/Enterprise customer segment and can thoughtfully reference those experiences and relationships.
- Learns about new product offerings with excitement.
- Comfortable presenting product-led discussions and demos to the partner network.
- Thoughtful, engaging, and energetic.
- Obsessed with understanding customers or partners.
- Comfortable operating independently.
- Comfortable presenting in large groups and showcasing oneself as a thought leader in the industry.
- Proactively solicits and acts on feedback from customers, partners, and peers.

- Has a positive outlook and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Has 3-4 years of SaaS account management, channel, or sales experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-4 years of SaaS account management, channel, or sales experience.
- Collaboration: Works collaboratively with enablement, CS, Marketing, and Product to introduce and educate agency partners on new enhancements to Klaviyo's platform.

Pay
Base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant's job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
Schedule
This role may require up to 10% travel for purposes such as new hire onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events. Travel is coordinated in advance.
