About the role
Wellness Nurse LPN / RN responsible for assisting with resident care services in a senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Resident Services staff, including CNAs, and assist with staffing and performance management.
- Support medication management and assist residents with self-administration of medications.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Report significant incidents or changes in resident needs to the appropriate management.
- Assist in completing resident assessments, service plans, and clinical recertifications per state requirements.
- Participate in hiring, training, and mentoring staff, as well as scheduling and staffing coordination.
- Provide coaching, support, and supervision to staff during care provision, ensuring quality services.
- Support residents and families to ensure high levels of satisfaction and quality care.
Qualifications
- Licensed RN or LPN in Massachusetts.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
- Passion and experience working with seniors.
