About the Role
Support Resident Care Services in a senior living community by supervising staff, overseeing medication programs, and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Resident Services staff, including C.N.A.s, and assist with staffing and performance management.
- Oversee medication programs and assist residents with self-administration of medications.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Report significant incidents and changes in resident needs to management.
- Assist with resident assessments, service plans, and clinical recertifications according to state requirements.
- Support hiring, training, and orientation of new staff, providing coaching and mentorship.
- Participate in in-service training, associate meetings, and scheduling activities.
- Help ensure high resident satisfaction and support staff during care provision.
Requirements
- Licensed RN or LPN in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care environments.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
- Passion for working with seniors.
