About the role
The Wellness Nurse (LPN/RN) supports the Resident Services Director in delivering and coordinating resident care within a senior living environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Resident Services staff, including CNAs, and assist with staffing and performance management.
- Oversee medication administration, ensuring residents can self-administer medications when appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians.
- Report significant incidents and changes in residents' needs to leadership.
- Assist with resident assessments, service plans, and clinical recertifications per state requirements.
- Participate in hiring, training, and onboarding new associates.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members and assist during care provision.
- Support high customer satisfaction by addressing residents and families' needs.
Requirements
- Licensed RN or LPN in Massachusetts.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Passion for working with seniors.
