The Role
The Difference You Make:
- Engage in assisting with various financial needs and processing transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.
Responsibilities
- Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraudulent situations.
- Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
- Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self-service options.
- Aid with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, creating a welcoming environment for customers.
- Support nearby branch locations based on business necessity.
Qualifications
- 6+ Months Cash Handling experience - Required.
- 6+ Months Demonstrated customer service experience - Required.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Comfortable in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Energetic, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
What You Bring
- Education: High school diploma, or GED- Required.
- Experience: 6+ Months Cash Handling experience - Required.
- Customer Service: 6+ Months Demonstrated customer service experience - Required.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
- Direction Following: Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Communication: Effective listening and communication skills.
- Digital Tools: Comfortable in using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Work Ethic: Energetic, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Accuracy: Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Technology: Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Hours: Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
Additional Information
- Preferred Experience: Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Microsoft Office Products: Preferred experience.
